Teaching

Holds a degree in Theater from UERGS and a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication/Advertising and Public Relations from PUC/RS. She also studied Social Communication/Journalism (Bachelor's) at the Hélio Alonso Integrated Colleges (RJ) and completed a postgraduate degree in Cinema and Audiovisual at the Estácio Faculty in Rio. She studied singing with soprano Rosimari Oliveira at the Montenegro Arts Foundation (RS). She is a student of the Manouche guitar under composer Mauro Albert, who introduced the style to the country.

Arts

She began her artistic career in the 1990s, singing in bars and on the streets of Amsterdam.

Upon returning to Brazil, he participated in the movement to revive cinema in Pernambuco, working as a Production Assistant on the video "America au Poivre" by Nelson Caldas and Sérgio Oliveira and the short film "Cachaça" by Adelina Pontual and Claudio Assis.

In 2000, in Recife, she was an assistant art director for the documentary "Casa Grande e Senzala" by Nelson Pereira dos Santos and worked on several projects related to the production company Ruth Pinho and Center TV in Recife.

In the same year, she directed and wrote the documentary "Endereço Rocinha," about the largest favela in Rio de Janeiro, which was completed and broadcast by TVE in Rio Grande do Sul.

In 2004 in Porto Alegre, she co-founded the Meme Group, dedicated to dance/theater.

In 2005, she performed singing with the SESi/Fundarte Orchestra in a show by her teacher Rosimari Oliveira and colleagues at the Teresinha Petry Cardona Theater in Montenegro (RS).

In 2006 she created the Om Group, with which she conducts research, presentations and events, and is the director of works such as the multimedia show Mahabharata, awarded by Funcultura of Porto Alegre, for which she is the director, screenwriter and performer.

She performed in the show "Bhakti - Essence of Life" by award-winning Indian choreographer Sandeep Bodhanker in Porto Alegre, 2009 at the Teatro Renascença.

In 2011, she was a finalist in the Tal Television Caja de Clips Contest with the Super-8 film "365 Flores pra Você," which was broadcast throughout Latin America by the channel and also on MTV Brazil, London, Australia, and Asia.

In 2012, he presented the show "Stories from India" in Recife.

In 2013, he founded the Off Broadway Cultural Center of Olinda and the production company Off Olinda.

In 2015, she received the Conexão Cultura Brasil award from the Ministry of Culture and traveled to New York for training in classical Indian dance with Professor Najma Ayasha from New York University.

In 2016, he produced and presented the performance "Histórias da Índia" (Stories from India) with the multi-instrumentalist Sérgio Ferraz from Pernambuco at the Rua do Amparo Festival in Olinda, and directed a short film with the same title based on the performance. The work won an award at the 4th National Exhibition of Videos on Interventions and Performances and was shown in 28 Brazilian cities.

In 2019 and 2020, he released several songs created in partnership with the composer Johann Alex de Souza, and produced music videos for the compositions "Sufi" and "Rima pra Ele".

Johann performs, showcasing his work in venues such as the Clube de Cultura and the Luiz Carlos Prestes Memorial in Porto Alegre.

In 2021, she was the screenwriter and production director of the short documentary "As Calungas de Mãe Elda" (Mother Elda's Calungas), Recife/Olinda, 2021, and producer/screenwriter/presenter of the "1st Gypsy Music Showcase of Zona da Mata," both funded by the Aldir Blanc Law in podcast format.

In the same year, she contributed an essay to the anthology Traces of Odissi Dance in Brazil, organized by Prof. Dr. Mariana Baruco Machado Andraus and Ms. Andrea Albergaria (UNICAMP). CRV Publisher.

In 2022, she will present the show "Amy's Maid" at the Bruno Kiefer Theater in the Mario Quintana Cultural Center in Porto Alegre.
