The Om Group , with artistic direction and production by actress Clara Clarice (Kali), researches Brazilian and Indian arts. Since 2006, we have produced presentations, exhibitions, meetings, lectures, and courses on the subject. In 2008, we staged a multimedia show based on the epic Mahabharata with 15 performers at the Gasometer Power Plant in Porto Alegre, and in 2012, "Gita no Sertão" – bringing together the art, culture, philosophy, and religiosity of the Brazilian Northeast with the Bhagavad Gita, a sacred poem from India and one of humanity's fundamental works. We also presented the performance "Histórias da Índia" (Stories of India) in Recife, based on the work of Indologist Heinrich Zimmer.
